I have been put down,
I exercised my great American right to vote,
I didn’t forget about election day like so many of my friends,
No!
I pulled the great Democratic lever in sure, solid, votes
against George W. Bush and his posse of republicans.
Twice voted, twice screwed,
by a system I can’t even explain to you.
See, democracy promises us a direct vote,
but some electoral college decides who gets in,
and I am not going to say this again,
that is not Democracy my friend.
See Democracy is when you can go into the building on capital hill,
and vote against the bill.
Or complain about what is wrong, singing the song of revolution,
Hey man, George W. man,
I won’t go die in this war for you because I know you lie.
No, we Americans have one train of thought now put out by news channels like CNN,
which is controlled by the republican party.
We want WAR, americans want to go in
and ripe those terrorists son a bitches apart, don’t they?!
I DON”T.
And the last time i checked Democratic Republics didn’t feed their people propaganda
like a plague,
And we the people of the United States of America
don’t stop to think about what this war is for:
bravery, freedom, protecting their rights, or just being big bullies.
In fifty years when this third world I keep hearing so much about
comes knocking at my door what am I gonna tell them we killed their people for,
am I gonna say,
it was the way it had to be see we needed an economic jump-starter
for our democracy is a hypocrisy of capitalism
constantly offering ourselves the next step up on a great economic ladder
until the ladder full of white men here to keep the rest of us down
And I am sick of lying on the ground,
while corporations run our nations
selling us shit we don’t even need to make it to the next million
We constantly ask ourselves why so many countries hate us,
You’d hate us too,
if we enslaved your children to make our Nike shoes,
but instead we construe
there must be something wrong with all those thems and yous,
cuz us,
we’re just good christians trying to hemp the third world for you
Our way is right,
We will show with our might
And in the distance we might sight you with our guns
and you better thank us for killing your fathers, your mothers, your brothers, your sisters your sons, you daughters,
Nobody needs to tell me George W. is a prick,
my first word choice would be dick,
cuz it’s he who’s convinced Americans of this Arab terrorists,
And I am pissed,
cuz now we support terrorism if we smoke pot,
or do anything else the American government doesn’t want
We could of stood up and stopped it,
but we laid down and copped to it.
We sold our souls to a scheme that has become our great American Dream
